Siddhas and the Temple
In the Tamil spiritual tradition, Siddhas are the immortals, who remain in their subtle bodies. They are omniscients and capable of performing miracles with their ‘Astama Siddhis’. They worship Lord Shiva, as Guru Maheswara, and consider Him to be the first siddha. They worship Manonmani as their Mother. While staying in selected places conducive for Samadhi, invisible to the mortals, they help those devotees who seek their help and guidance.
The ensuing pages are a humble attempt to describe their glory and list some details about each of them as revealed by the Divine Mother, Annai Aadhi Parasakthi.
