Welcome to Pallikaranai ANNAI ADHIPARASAKTHI Trust

New Content : Whenever there is a decline in spirituality in this world, the holy saints (commonly known as Sriddhar) with their immense grace and power, act to restore and strengthen the spiritual way of life.

These Siddhars incarnate as god’s representatives or self-manifested (suyambu sakthi) powers, perform miracles and develop supreme Divine temples. They conceal their identities and employ other humans as instruments to spread spirituality.

Likewise, the Siddhars developed a Divine supreme Annai Aadhiparasakthi temple in Pallikaranai, Chennai. The temple has been raised by their grace in accordance with temple construction traditions (Siddha Aagama Vidhigal) and the consecration (kudamuzhakku) ceremony was done on 12/04/1984.

In 1984, the sanctum sanctorum of Divine Mother Aadhiparasakthi was alone constructed covering an area of 1200 sq. ft. In due course, the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Ganesha, the Entrance hall and the Divine Mother’s Maha Mandapam was constructed. Later the meditation hall, the sanctum sanctorum of Divine Mother Mandhirappaavai, the Maha mandapam in front of the Mother Mandhirappavai and the 18 Siddhar statues were constructed. All the mandapams in this temple have colourful and magnificent sculptures of various Hindu Gods and Godesses. A dinning Big hall with a kitchen for Annadhanam (charity of food) on all full moon days and special pooja days was also constructed.

The daily pooja activities, administration and social welfare activities of the temple are performed only through donations given by the devotees who had benefited from the blessings of the Divine Mother and other deities in the temple. The temple was thus expanded to 30,000 sq.ft. only by using these funds.

Therefore, we request you to visit our temple, seek the blessings of the Divine Mother and other Deities to lead a healthy, wealthy and a prosperous life.

Welcome to Pallikaranai ANNAI ADHIPARASAKTHI Trust

The temple is spread over 9 grounds of land on Velachery Tambaram axis in South Chennai. Though on a busy highway, the temple is so located, it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, providing a peaceful atmosphere for meditation. The temple is an independent institution, run by Trustees and volunteers, nominated by the Mother and is mainly meant for the upliftment of those who are spiritually inclined.

Temple – An overview

In each eon, wherever the evil forces over power the righteous ones, and the Dharma deteriorates, the Lord takes an avatar to destroy the evil (Gita). Similarly whenever the spiritual thoughts diminish in the world, the merciful siddhas exercise their physic powers and restore the spiritual beliefs by causing many miracles.

The siddhas may take births as great devotees of the Lord; may cause the appearance of “Swayambu Lingas”; may cause the construction of a temple with plenty of divine powers. During some of these acts they may remain in their subtle bodies, or may use others as their instruments for carrying out such tasks.

Thus with the blessings of the Siddhas and as per the instructions received in the ARUL VAKKU (Divine Communication), plans were drawn, based on the ‘Siddha-Agama’ rules. The Pallikaranai Adi Parasakthi Temple was constructed and was successfully consecreted on 12.04.1984.
